ThrivePass is announcing a new President and Chief Executive Officer, both of which are internal promotions. ThrivePass’s current CEO, Andreas Deptolla, will take on the role of President, and the current COO, Ryan Tacke, will lead as CEO.

ThrivePass is one of the industry’s fastest-growing benefits technology companies, innovating the employee journey from on-boarding to off-boarding. The company offers traditional TPA services (HSA, FSA, HRA, Commuter, and COBRA administration) alongside its own cutting-edge benefits software (lifestyle spending accounts, tuition reimbursement and repayment programs, and benefits administration). Founded in 2014, the company brings top-quality service and products to all its client groups. Whether an employee is enrolling, engaging in their company, or transitioning out of their company, ThrivePass has the tools and benefits suite for all workforce types.

Andreas Deptolla is the co-founder of ThrivePass as well as its sister company, Wishlist Rewards. Deptolla has been in the benefits technology space for more than 10 years. Starting as the company’s first COO, Deptolla was welcomed as the CEO in 2019. His new role as President will allow him to focus on strategic partnerships, marketplace development, and stakeholder management.

Deptolla is looking forward to shifting his focus to strategic goals for the organization. “I’m very proud of what we have accomplished together here at ThrivePass. I am looking forward to working with my business partner, Ryan, in his new role to continue the rapid growth of our organization.” Deptolla said.

Ryan Tacke has served as the COO of ThrivePass since 2019. Prior to coming on board full-time, Tacke served on the company’s board for two years. He has devoted his career to the TPA space as the VP of Broker and Consultant Relations at Alegeus and the VP of Sales and Product Management at Delta Dental before joining the ThrivePass team. As CEO, Tacke will lead operations, development, product, and sales initiatives.

Tacke welcomes the opportunity to serve ThrivePass in this new capacity. “Andreas has led ThrivePass through three consecutive years of Inc. 5000 level groups and we have an amazing team that is built for continued, scalable growth.  I am excited to lead ThrivePass as we continue to lead the industry in innovation while maintaining our best-in-class service.” Tacke said.

ThrivePass has been recognized as an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company for three consecutive years: 2019, 2020, and 2021.

The company has also been awarded Outside Magazine’s 50 Best Places to Work award in 2020 and 2021.
