About the Role

TheFinancial Operations Specialist is responsible for the successful processing of operational finance activities across all benefits products to ensure exceptional client and participant experiences.

Responsibilities

·      Ensures timely accurate payment and reimbursement activities to pre-tax participants and clients

·      Processes stop payments, voids, ACH returns and necessary payment reissues

·      Ensures reconciliation of client and participant pre-tax accounts

·      Oversees payment and reconciliation activities for ThriveAccount and Learning & Development participants and clients

·      Acts as back up for the daily and monthly COBRA funding activities, including daily deposits, reconciliations, premium transfers and participant refunds

·      Other projects and duties as requested by management

Requirements

·       Prior experience in a financial operations role at a Third-Party Administrator or similar field

·       Experience working with Alegeus (Preferred)

·      Familiar with standard insurance concepts, practices, and procedures

·      Strong knowledge of medical insurance, FSA, HSA, andCOBRA  

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularlyExcel

·      Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

·      Ability to identify and provide solutions for client needs

·      Quick learner and detail oriented

·      Strong communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication

Additional Information

SalaryRange: $45,000-$50,000/annually.
